hi, as a vet, i would like to say,
your points about allergies are spot on. Really your blog is incredibly informative and well researched and a great resource for the public.

I have just started a new forum, www.petdoctor.com, its for pets but also for vets (it has a private free vet area too) it would be great if you could check it out and make some post there!!
feel free to promote your blog there a bit..

<<>>>

I wish you could please warn people to consult a HOLISTIC veterinarian for diet because most other vets tell people that stuff loaded with corn and other bad stuff is good because the food companies buy them off and give gifts and funding to the schools among other things..
Just how can the stuff in the vet -pushed foods NOT make the animals sicker??? Honestly? There's nothing good in there. Have you ever seen the ingredients? It's a hose-job really. Keeps the pets coming back for more steriods!
Why won't people call vets out on this? That stuff is UNHEALTHY, PERIOD. THERE SHOULD BE WARNINGS< like there are on cigarette packs. NOT HEALTHY FOR YOU!!!!!!! Do NOT ask a vet about diet unless they are Holistic, or you have mucho $$$$ for all the drugs for all the UTIs and other bowel and intestinal issues...
